Mattia de Gennaro

Foggia, 1731. After a violent earthquake, two brothers, belonging to a renowned family of barons, are forced to discuss the fate of their family. Overwhelmed by memories and unresolved issues, both will discover how their bond seems irrevocable, as is the land in which they have their roots.

The arrival of a young couple allows the ruins of a ghost town to come to life, taking human form. Disoriented, it is quickly attracted by a growing hissing sound, that will make it wander in search of its origin. The discovery of which will put it face to face with a truth that, up until that moment, it was not able to comprehend.

Years after the death of his ex partner Giorgio, Emanuele remembers the day that he learned of his passing. The same day that he went to the house of the parents to attend the wake, before the body be moved to the church for the funeral celebrations. Digging deep in his memory, emanuele will see his recollections from that day melting together with the remains of a love that never truly vanished and that he will turn to in search of answers. Until, an unexpected event will allow him to land where he never thought he could.
