Alice, after divorce, takes on motherhood and cares for her son August. His father's unfulfilled promises trigger August's death, causing his mysticism to spiral into retribution. Alice, believing in reason and right, must protect her son.

A fourth-year university student was stressed about finding a play for his graduation project because no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t come up with any ideas. Then he remembered the story Sappaleehuan, so he decided to adapt it for his stage performance, as he was from the South and very familiar with the tale.
