Boï is a self-portrait of my non-transitional trans body. I am a boy, wrongly called feminine, with hips and breasts. I am not a woman born female, nor a man born male. I am Lucien, a boy.

This project was born out of an objection to the transphobic rhetoric of TERFs. I am a trans man and this is a self-portrait. I undress in a sequence shot as the TERFs spread their hatred. They talk about irreversible operations. I'm delighted with my scars. My body is legitimate. I exist. Fuck them.

I left the psychiatric hospital yesterday. I filmed myself in the shower of the CAPSUL 17 emergency unit. I felt the need to create something that would bear witness to the mixed-state episode I went through. This is the film made during my bipolar episode.
