A British woman's tranquil life in Barcelona spirals out of control when an armed robbery at a supermarket exposes her secret... and violent past.

The first installment in The Isolation Trilogy - each film taking place in an imaginary past, focusing on characters in extreme physical isolation. Inspired by Finnish artist Helene Schjerfbeck’s intimate portraits of women, on the banks of a lake, hidden below a mountain ridge, three women live secluded. One night, a young vagabond appears on their doorstep, bringing echoes of the outside world to their haven.

A mother, killed by her husband, dances her final dance of death as she struggles to return to life. The need to protect her child is the only thing that can pull her through.
