Before the events of A Better Tomorrow (1986), Mark 'Gor' Lee heads to Saigon during the Vietnam War to bring home his uncle and cousin, but his task becomes complicated when a well-known criminal tries to help him.

Muối – a girl who lost her mother at birth and was raised with her father's love on the island commune of Thiềng Liềng. The turning point for the father and daughter begins when Muối grows up and decides to move to the city to study and work, dreaming of changing her life to help her father.

A face reading tells Lan Anh that she has a face that will bring about the death of her lovers. Further confirmed after the tragic death of her boyfriend, Lan Anh grows reclusive and rejects any romantic advances towards her.

The two villagers are in a deep dispute which stops all villagers loving people from the other. Couples of two village died for love and they claimed war to each other lots of time. But a regular situation happened when French came, they went invading those remote villages and made people work for them. A girl had been raped and murdered by a French leader, so will two villages come to co-operation? Or they will fight a lone to thư enemy, the most dangerous enemy they have met in their lives?

Chốt Đơn! follows the bustling lives of Hoàng Linh, a young and successful “chốt đơn warrior,” and Chú An (Quyền Linh), an office worker who also moonlights as a rideshare driver. Amid societal pressures, uncertainties, and changes impacting two generations, Hoàng Linh and Chú An, despite their differences in age, background, and personality, discover a pure friendship. Together, they ignite new passions, leading to victorious “Chốt Đơn!” sessions.

A rich man convinces his girlfriend to get an abortion which she angrily rejects. The man is later hit by vehicle; at home in recovery, he enters a delirious state where he sees every man around him getting pregnant.

On May 1, 1975 with Viet Cong troops march through Saigon celebrating their victory. Tham, caretaker of Victory Hotel, a relatively small establishment in downtown Saigon, nervously observes these celebrations. The owners have fled Saigon and the hotel is to be requisitioned by the new government. Tham wonders what his fate will be under the new regime. The next day he is told that that the hotel is to be transformed into a collective flat for the Viet Cong cadre and their families now entering the city. Tham is not hostile to this but is concerned about his place in the new set up. Will he still have a job? Will he be treated as an enemy?
