The destitution of living in oppressive Cuba forces a young girl and her friend to try and escape 90 miles north across treacherous waters.

2020 comes with enough challenges of its own, but as four best friends each attempt to overcome their own trying situations, they are left unsure if the group can survive.

A powerful story about ambition, resilience, and the devastating impact of gun violence. It follows a young man striving to build a better future for himself, a teen influencer chasing musical stardom with raw talent and big dreams, and a security guard determined to earn his place on the police force. But their aspirations collide with harsh realities when a single act of violence sends shockwaves through their lives, forcing them to confront the true cost of their environment and the choices they make.
