Nina and Astrid are best friends. As sociology undergrads, they decide to study the construct of love... by interviewing every guy Nina has ever had a crush on. But this project puts their friendship to the test, all the more so since Astrid has her own little crush for Nina.

High Estate is inspired by the stories of those who lived in the Assas Tower, a significant building housing people in a deprived area of Montpellier. The 76 meter high building is due to be demolished in 2024. The film follows, Saina, a Moroccan woman who moves into the tower block in 1972. The film follows her from decade to decade, and we see the small moments that make up a life unfold within the four walls. Saina builds a home across the years, and, as her life progresses, the story moves closer to the inevitable destruction of the place she calls home.

Jess, Loanne, and Lilou are members and founders of the Apax Skate Crew, a collective based in Montpellier that brings together women and gender minorities around skateboarding. Through women-only sessions, competitions like FISE, and dedicated events such as the Chica Chique Sess, the documentary highlights the challenges these groups face in a male-dominated world. By following the crew's daily lives, it reveals their commitment, solidarity, and passion. It also tackles issues like sexism in skateboarding, lack of media recognition, and the marginalization of female skaters. Despite these barriers, Apax Skate Crew stands strong and helps pave the way for a more inclusive and accessible skate scene.
