After the mysterious disappearance of her best friend, an introspective teenager is forced to participate in the eccentric local contest “Beet Queen”. As she occupies the place her friend left behind, she begins to investigate when disturbing dreams begin to erase the border between memory and the supernatural.

In 2020, during the pandemic, five friends from Rio Grande do Sul face the difficulties of adolescence. Through art, they seek to find themselves amid the chaos of Covid-19 and mental health problems, finding themselves again after an event that changes their lives forever and tests the meaning of 'growing up'.

It follows Mariano Guerra as he returns to Argentina to testify against soldiers who tortured him during the dictatorship, focusing not on revenge but on his inner struggle with guilt, trauma, and the lasting psychological impact of violence kept largely off-screen.
