On the occasion of his son's engagement, Ivan and his family go to a friend's house for lunch. At a friendly table, he finds a man from his past who ruined his childhood.

Night, a hotel, and a love triangle. What could possibly come of it? The beginning of forbidden love or another tragic end? In the dark night, Sarah awaits her lover, Victor. Together, they plan the murder of her dangerous and powerful husband but Sarah herself could not have foreseen the consequences of this decision. Victor sees the fear and doubt in Sarah's behavior, and he feels the outcome. Despite her husband's threats, he makes a choice based on the impulse of his feelings.

Margot, a brilliant young scientist with a troubled marriage, disappears inexplicably while hiking with her husband Sam and a group of friends. A few weeks later, she miraculously reappears the day of her own memorial service. Margot is clearly not the same as before the accident. Young ostentatious intellectual, Stanisa (Stan), leaves his family and girlfriend due to their cognitive immaturity, as he sees it. He finds a new home in an abandoned house in the wilderness where other intellectuals such as him live.

Nik, a very successful actor who, fed up with the routine of everyday life, wants a change. This is reflected in the idea of becoming a filmmaker. Therefore, in search of an authentic film theme, he uses his camera to shoot and record images from the lives of the people around him every day, his fiancée, his parents, his colleagues from the theater, his friends.

Everything happens from the perspective of a young girl who, by sheer circumstances and against her own will, finds herself to be a part of social milieu during local elections.

It follows detective Mirjana, who goes to eastern Serbia to investigate a girl's disappearance. Over the course of time, her police investigation turns into a personal quest. The film explores through elements of detective film, thriller and fantasy, the culture, beliefs, Christian tradition and superstitions of the region.
