The origin story of the iconic Captain Nemo: an Indian Prince robbed of his birthright and family, a prisoner of the East India Mercantile Company and a man bent on revenge against the forces that have taken everything from him.

When a teenager is kidnapped by his delusional mother, who believes his teachers are abusing him, he plays along with her desperate plan to protect him—until a chance to escape forces him to confront the terrifying reality of what she’s become.

Teenager Aaron used to look after his sick mother whilst his father Jacob worked day and night to afford her treatment. After her death, Jacob borrows money off his drug-dealing brother Miles to pay back her treatment bills. Buckling under grief, Jacob blames Aaron for her death and physically abuses him. Seeking refuge with Miles, Aaron realizes he cannot escape his father and retaliates against him.
