André Cherkassky Pilli

Where do we belong? Humans are so intricate in what they need to be happy. Sometimes we can find fulfillment in the city, sometimes in the woods, but almost invariably when we are with someone we love. This is an exploration into the meaning of happiness for Kraig Adams, a content creator with over half a million followers that has hiked over 1300 miles and lives out of his backpack.

When two sisters are hunted by mysterious creatures, they find themselves in a race against time as one of them falls ill. After one of them tragically dies, a surprising discovery about their true identities comes to light.

Limbo is the first narrative project that Andre Pilli wrote and directed. The subject of this film is slavery and the ethics of AI. When robots gain consciousness will it be right for humans to control them?
