Maggie Nicole Robertson (She/They) is a highly dedicated and experienced young actor. After over ten years of theatre training, she began exploring film acting in 2021. Since then, they have acted in more than a dozen projects. Maggie recently booked her first breakout role as “Duff” in the Universal film “Violent Night 2,” alongside a major cast including David Harbour, Kristen Bell, Joe Pantoliano, Jared Harris, and more. “Violent Night 2” will premiere in theatres on December 4th and will be featured on Netflix. Maggie made her film debut with the 2021 short film “By Faith, Denis,” directed by Jeremy Ratzlaff, in which she portrayed the timid and emotional character Kit. Since then, Maggie has collaborated with multiple emerging directors, showcasing her versatile acting skills in films including the feature “A Storm Blows Over” by Gavin Baird, “Melted” by Sophie Kokott, and “Our Last Day as Kids” by Dylan Hyrciuk. She also starred in a music video for the acclaimed pop-punk band “Senses Fail.” In 2023, Maggie reprised their role as Kit in the “By Faith, Denis” sequel, “Fear and Trembling,” wherein she displayed her emotional depth as an actor. After its release, the film was showcased at the Soho Film Festival in New York City. In 2023, Maggie received the awards for Best Performance at the SIFAS for her role in “A Storm Blows Over” and Best Actress at the Chilliwack Independent Film Festival for her performance in “Fear and Trembling.” In 2024, Maggie worked on various films such as “First Laid Eyes” by Logan McCormick, “Maneater” by Jessica Gares, “Deathgasm II” by Jason Lei Howden, and “#Vanlife” by Trevor Cameron. 2025 was a busy year, as Maggie flew to L.A. to watch "Our Last Day As Kids" premiere at the famous Beverly Hills Film Festival. In addition, they appeared in three feature films: "The Housekeeper" by Dante Yore, "Beyond The Veil" by David Hansen, and the much-anticipated sequel to "Violent Night" by Tommy Wirkola. In February of 2026, Maggie was awarded Best Performance (Female or Nonbinary) at the first-ever Moose Jaw Film Festival for their performance in "Our Last Day As Kids."
