Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.

A show about two Bavarian police officers, Franz Hubert and Johannes Staller, who sometimes work a bit differently. Where Franz wants to follow regulations, Johannes likes to do things his own way.

A call for help from gallery owner Mr. Prentice leads the three detectives into a new adventure: his apartment is said to be haunted. When the Carpathian dog, a valuable work of art, is also stolen, events spiral out of control because all the residents have a motive. As the suspects are eliminated one by one, the three detectives find themselves in the middle of their most exciting case yet.

A cinematic inversion of global power relations, 'Black Savior' parodies the idiosyncrasies of the white savior syndrome, through the story of the Agyeman family from Akanman, who travel to the heart of the cold continent with a goat to save the Swabian tribe.
