Tina Cordova

80 years after the creation of the atomic bomb, Howard, a survivor of the bombing of Hiroshima, and Tina, a fallout victim of the Trinity test, meet in person for the first time at the United Nations.

Latina businesswoman and cancer survivor Tina Cordova ignites a grassroots movement demanding justice for the residents of southern New Mexico – mostly Hispanic and Native – who have suffered multigenerational cancers tied to the exposure of their land to radioactive fallout from the Trinity nuclear test.
