Yunqi Richard Li
Yunqi Richard Li is a Beijing-raised, LA-based filmmaker. Shaped by a deeply bicultural upbringing, he is particularly drawn to such themes as collective memory, cultural identity, and selfhood over time. An alumnus of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, he strives to tell intimate, innovative, and introspective stories. His shorts have been selected at Oscar-qualifying festivals, and he continues to collaborate on commercial work for recognizable companies like Netflix and Toyota.
