A talented young student of astronomy and an experienced strict professor both dream about discovering a supernova. When the student experiences beginner's luck, the whole research group will be excited. Then, opposite scientific approaches collide and decisions must be made - now the greatness of the scientist's spirit will open up.

Now Zina's teacher, Vera, a sweet and loving lady, takes care of her trying to save the troubled girl, but in return, Zina becomes extremely crafty to hurt the teacher.

Professor Sretenski is a scientist and director of a research center in Russia. He is separated from his wife and lives alone. His daughter, who lives with the mother, comes to his home and stays with him for a period, leaving her daughter with him. He raises his granddaughter, feeling a great affection for her.
