Arehas Papathanasiou was born in 2002 and lives and works in Athens. He studied Cinematography and Television Camera Operation at the "L. Stavrakos Film School" (2022–25) and is currently completing his studies at the "Filmschool - Directing Courses" seminar (academic year 2025–26). Currently, he is working with the Athens-Epidaurus Festival from May to August 2026. He has recently completed his short film "Rapture with the Zero" and the performance "The Taste of Cherry".
