Joseph “Blessed Hands” Adorno, a former amateur standout with one-punch knockout power, will face Hugo Alberto Roldan in a new 10-round super lightweight main event on SHOBOX: The New Generation on Friday, September 9, live on SHOWTIME at 9 p.m. ET/PT from Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino’s Grand Ballroom.

Janelson Figueroa Bocachica competes in the headline bout against 2016 Olympian Alberto Palmetta. Both boxers are looking to bounce back from recent defeats. Bocachica dropped an eight-round decision defeat to Roiman Villa last year, before Jamal James handed Palmetta a 10-round loss on points in February. Victory here, though, will see either Bocachica or Palmetta get their career back on track with a return to winning ways and a world ranking boost in the lively welterweight division.

Quinton Randall (14-2-1) takes on Janelson Bocachica (17-2-1) as the headline act of a Red Owl Boxing show in Houston. With almost identical records, the pair look well-matched, with the fight scheduled for 10 rounds in the welterweight division.

Uzbek phenom Otabek Kholmatov fights Raymond Ford for the vacant WBA featherweight world title. This duel of unbeaten southpaws sees the WBA’s No.1 and No. 2 contenders making their inaugural world title appearances. In the co-feature, Luis Alberto “El Venado” Lopez defends his IBF world crown against Japanese contender Reiya Abe.
