Dreamscape is a quest on the weight of times we never imagined would become our reality. In the quiet hours of sleep, when our defenses soften, buried emotions rise to the surface, often more vivid than waking life. For those shaped by migration and marked by generational trauma, dreams become both a refuge and a mirror. This film explores how the unconscious mind reflects collective and personal struggle. It journeys through the inner worlds we create to survive, to heal, and to simply endure whether that's building coping mechanisms through faith, art, somatics or activism.

1.0As a family from a politically and physically divided island, Meray and her father developed extremely opposite views to each other. She travels from Scotland back to her childhood home - to the garden where she once had nightmares of the conflict. Now it's blossoming with fruit trees that her father grows, acting as the conversational middle ground for the deeper problems of the relationship. As the debates about power dynamics in the house and on the island grow in parallel, she needs to understand her father's experiences and find the courage to tell him that she always sought his validation. Meray felt oppressed by her father and the state in north Cyprus, and finally wants to express herself within her family, and the Cyprus that she once escaped.

During their residency in Kosovo, directors Meray Diner and Dafina Daka uncovered harrowing accounts of sexual violence used systematically as a weapon of war. More than physical assault, these acts were aimed at breaking families and silencing generations. Na Thojshin Lutko Moja draws on the testimonies of Kosovar women survivors to explore the hidden emotional aftermath shame, isolation, and the cost of breaking the silence. The film reclaims a collective memory often denied, offering a powerful portrait of resilience.
