Queen Elizabeth I visits late 1970s England to find a depressing landscape where life has changed since her time.

Farm boy Daryl Cage's parents ship him off to the big city to live with his brother, hoping he will have a better life there. After a baggage mixup at the airport, Daryl finds himself in possession of a drug cache, which a ruthless drug dealer wants back. The dealer murders Daryl's brother and the small town boy ends up all alone in the big city, being pursued by both the drug dealer and the police, who suspect him of the murder.

This was the first concert film to capture the excitement of Siouxsie and the Banshees live. Director Don Coutts filmed two sell-out concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and then worked with The Banshees to select the best tracks for this film.

London 1976: Between economic crises and the Silver Jubilee, something is brewing in the squats and basement clubs of West London: Punk. A promise, a new beginning. Punk meant self-empowerment, especially for the women in the scene. For the first time, women picked up guitar, bass and drums, formed bands and wrote their own songs.

The final days of Nancy Spungen and Sid Vicious are explored.

Featuring several live sessions filmed for The Old Grey Whistle Test and Oxford Road Show, and for the first time, a previously-unreleased concert filmed in Warwick in March 1981, prior to their Juju album, with John McGeoch on guitar. Robert Smith was also featured on guitar on nine songs, including a TV session in 1979 and all the TV appearances from November 1982 through March 1984.

Through a series of tableaux/still life settings, characters are subjected to experiments dealing with elegance, science, violence, technology, glamour and love, attempting to examine the levels of alienation which the modern world and lifestyles encourage.
