A story about a boy who can't walk and his friend, who creates a world for him - a life-saving fairy tale about a mermaid and dangerous games with mythical creatures. This friendship becomes a shield against cruelty and a cure for despair.

After 20 years, Semyon has a family and his own business in Moscow. Returning to his hometown to visit his parents, he accidentally runs into Maya Rodina, Lena's daughter, who lives in an abandoned house and earns a living by singing songs on electric trains. Semyon wants to help Maya and take her with him to Moscow, but faces the resistance of his friend Eduard.

December 1941. Leningrad. The story centers on the main character, who, together with other employees, saves zoo animals from shelling. The people themselves are on the brink of life and death, but they do not abandon the hippopotamus named Krasavitsa.

A mysterious puppeteer comes to an ordinary school and in one and the same performance turns the assembly hall into a live fairy tale. The boy, caught between his classmates ridicules and indifference of adults, accidentally finds himself on the stage and goes on a magical journey with dragons, dwarfs and a princess. When Sasha meets his wild friend, Red the fox, again, he learns that the fox's family has been kidnapped by a traveling zoo. The boy resolves to bring them home at all costs. A dangerous journey and a meeting with a new true friend awaits him.

However, their efforts take a dangerous turn when they are discovered by German soldiers during one fateful outing.

May 1942. Several units of the Crimean Front troops, together with the city's residents, took shelter from the bombing in the Adzhimushkay quarries. A boy who, using neural network technologies, got into the past, faces a choice: find lost artifacts or help the defenders of the quarries. And he decides to share all the hardships of this life and, most importantly, to give hope to these people.
