A group of former mercenaries reunite to plan an epic heist: boosting a truck full of medicine held by a foreign intelligence agency to supply a refugee camp in need. In Taiwan, as the 2019 Hong Kong protests erupt across the strait, Zhong-Han, a young silent thug, leads a life divided between his work in a family restaurant and parties in the dark Taipei underworld. But when a questionable businessman wants to buy the restaurant, Zhong-Han is drawn into a whirlwind of events that confronts him with the corrupt power games of his country.

Melody, a teenage girl, lives in a borrowed mansion together with her parents, whose marriage is on the rocks. Though they look like a happy family, they are three people struggling in the game of life. A long-deserted amusement park appears to be the only way out.
