A misguided father forces his unwilling son to spend a day with him learning to play the family pastime of baseball. A tradition that goes back further than he could imagine. With the help of an old family bat, both sides learn more about each other and what a relationship means between a father and son.

Along Came is the story of Michael May, a con-man faith healer with a complicated past plundering his way through every church, chapel, and potluck in the area. Everything changes, however, when his own promises come back to haunt him when out of the backwoods along comes a mentally disturbed man and his actually possessed younger sister. Together, the two outcasts form an unlikely bond as they attempt to escape and survive in the backwoods of Appalachia.

When a troubled young woman returns to her childhood home in rural East Tennessee, an aging farmer must confront a familiar cycle of violence and the terrible lengths he'll go to protect the person he loves most.
