Shannon and Reilly are two homeless men living on the streets of Brooklyn, struggling with addiction and their own damaged psyches. While begging on the street one day, the two of them are given a rare opportunity when a stranger drops five thousand dollars in their change jar. Instead of wasting the money, though, Reilly would like to spend it on getting clean and seeing his children. Unfortunately, Shannon doesn't believe Reilly has children.
