Marina and her parents go to the countryside to visit family friends whom they have not seen for a long time. Matija, a daughter from another family, saves her from a tiring family lunch, who invites her to the village with him. After reconnecting with a childhood friend, what started as a boring afternoon takes on a whole new shape.

Miljenko, a successful Croatian businessman, receives the news that his company has just filed for bankruptcy. Things seem to be looking up, however, when his daughter announces not only her engagement, but also her pregnancy and upcoming nuptials. The only caveat? The love of her life is none other than the son of the Serbian prime minister.

Three years after the events of the first film, the Dimitrijević and Lončarić families have, once again, fallen on hard times. Miljenko finds himself guilty of financial fraud and seeks refuge, along with his family, in an isolated mountain town in Herzegovina. At the same time, Vuk's political career is swiftly heading south, as he once again finds himself at the mercy of the ruthless oposition. Too hotheaded to think things through, both parties decide that the only way to fix things might just be to organize yet another wedding.

A spark of life comes when Una, a young girl from Pula, is drawn to him. Until the past catches up with him.
