Rana Al Azm

A story of police intelligence in which the conflict between Syrians between 2011 and 2012 is portrayed, emphasizing the struggle with religious extremists turned blindly into pro-state allies, and characterizing the true essences of different Syrians, between loyalists and opponents.

The series follows the family of Al-Mallah and Khaldun: the former enjoys great influence, while the other belongs to a downtrodden class. The spark of the story erupts with Khaldun’s desire to rob the Al-Mallah family, which turns the matter into a war between them and a settling of scores about the shared past and present that unites them.

At a Damascus girls' high school, the school counsellor Hanan is the quiet centre of everyone's storms — helping teenagers navigate family pressure, social expectations and the bruising complexities of adolescence, while quietly managing the unravelling of her own marriage. Each student carries a different wound; each episode peels back another layer. A warm, perceptive Syrian drama about the hidden costs of growing up female in Arab society. Directed by Rasha Sharbatji, starring Salma Al-Masri and Qusay Khouli.

Shaghaf is married to the owner of a gambling hall, whose cousin Karim is trying to kill to have his wife for himself. Then Shaghaf falls in love with Sewar who tries to help her and events develop between them.

A social drama that shows how contradictory qualities can bring people together, and how the Levantine society witnesses manifestations of love, hatred, violence, possessiveness and domineering control of the weak. But a reckoning is coming for everyone
