In order to study fashion in so-desired Paris, a young country girl who hates Carnival travels to Rio de Janeiro to try to get support from the most famous designer in Brazil. Set on sneaking into the sewing team of one of the biggest samba schools, she will discover that Carnival only lasts for a week, but a love story can change her entire life.

This documentary commemorates the centenary in 2026 of celebrated Brazilian writer and journalist Carlos Heitor Cony. Guided by his widow, Beatriz Lajta, after 40 years together, the film reveals the man behind the public figure. Featuring previously unseen home footage of their travels, friends, and shared passions—including piano, painting, and books—as well as readings narrated by Pedro Bial and interviews with Cony’s daughter and granddaughter, the documentary offers a mature, female perspective on a fascinating life, capturing his profound humanity and capacity for affection.
