When a gawky teenager devises a silly plan to impress his crush, they unexpectedly find themselves stranded on a remote island. As his harebrained scheme unravels, they must navigate the dangers of the wilderness and their own insecurities in this darkly comedic tale of self-discovery.

In an archival beach recording, a brother and sister enter Gvozden’s dream, which quickly turns into a nightmare when an ordinary thief reveals its demonic face. While trying to escape the beach, Gvozden loses his sister and confronts the golden monkey in the forest portable toilet, loses control over reality, and ultimately transforms into a demonic thief himself.

Gvozden and his sister learn they had another sibling who died when they were young, a secret their parents kept. Their mother reveals she still carries part of the deceased sister, causing reality to break down as death and rebirth merge.
