In the fictional Poço Fundo, politics and affection mingle in saga against corruption. Cleonice decides to run for mayor while her son, Valdir, pays his respects to a philanthropic institution and ends up falling in love with a girl.

On an odyssey along the dusty roads of the Brazilian states of Piauí and Maranhão, the forró band Babaçu Love, managed by Tetéu (Lailtinho), faces the challenges of performing on makeshift stages in small towns across Northeastern Brazil. With the slogan, "The passion that burns in your heart," the story follows Diloura (Amanda Odillon), her mother Paraibana (Gisele Vasconcelos), and the kind-hearted Araújo (Alisson Emanoel). Diloura is seduced by the promises of her unscrupulous boyfriend, Ransquelson Ruschel (Whindersson Nunes), who convinces her to leave Babaçu Love and join the band Quiabo com Maxixe, managed by the swindler Capa Rato (Mano Silva). Meanwhile, Paraibana leads the struggle of the babaçu coconut breakers for fair labor rights, equality, and environmental preservation.

Actress and folklorist Zulmira Bezerra, popularly known as Sibita, still keeps her art alive by passing on her knowledge to new generations and offering us great performances. The actress became nationally known for playing Dona Raimunda in the hit comedy OH, WHAT A LIFE!, and the charismatic Vó Iaiá in the drama APRIL FLOWER, both feature films by filmmaker Cícero Filho.

The movie follows the trajectory of Teresa, a naive and romantic young woman who becomes a victim of a series of extreme circumstances.
