Hakam Al Baba

Kam Al-Baba (March 7, 1961 – February 19, 2023) was a Syrian poet, journalist, and screenwriter born in Hama, Syria. He studied journalism at the Media Training Institute in Damascus and later earned a degree in theater criticism and literature from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. He had a long career in Syrian and Arab journalism before becoming a cultural editor for Al Arabiya in Dubai.
