Alice is a doctor in a screening center for STDs. Every day, she asks the patients about their intimacy, before taking blood samples. When she returns to her apartment, she finds Bianca languidly waiting for her. When the time comes, Alice spills the patients' blood on her tongue, telling her their stories.

Attracted by the music and lights of an illegal techno party on the outskirts of Paris, a little girl living on the premises gets lost in the crowd. To find her, Souleymane, her older brother, has to brave the indifference of the partygoers and the deafening noise of the techno.

Rushing from the chaos of her student job, up the never-ending staircase of her apartment building, Danielle, a West African-French student, calculates that she has enough time to change from her work clothes before her final sociology exam in 20 minutes. Her under-maintained shoebox apartment has other plans. Yanis, a young concierge, comes to help and tries to fix the ancient door lock that has trapped her. As time trickles past, the two strangers find an unexpected solidarity, with only a door to separate them.

One afternoon, three high school students sneak out of their all-girls Catholic boarding school. Sunny, the new girl, has gone for a swim in the river. Sarah is eager to join her, even though Clémence disapproves.

Laure is 13 years old. At night, she secretly talks to Alix on msn. But during the day, in their girls' school, she avoids her - like everyone else. When Laure invites Alix home after school, something changes between them.
