A series of three vignettes of life about public housing dwellers trying to make sense of their existence in their mundane lives. In the first, "Flat", a man fantasizes of sexual fulfillment from his new flat screen television. In the second, "Neighbourhood Watch", a boy has dreams of superherohood. In the final one, "Void Deck", a middle-aged former child ballerina drifts about aimlessly in search of a job.

Spurred by the sudden death of their friend, three senior citizens attempt to break out of their nursing home to attend a rock concert.

Life is not the most fulfilling for sixteen-year-old Meng: Lounging at home with his grieving father on a daily basis, being excluded from his family’s past, and forced into bullying other kids at school. Everything changes when he is thrown into a life-altering adventure that propels him into an exciting unfamiliar landscape.
