Failed hockey player-turned-golf whiz Happy Gilmore — whose unconventional approach and antics on the green courts the ire of rival Shooter McGavin — is determined to win a PGA tournament so he can save his granny's house with the prize money. Happy Gilmore isn't done with golf — not by a long shot. Since his retirement after his first Tour Championship win, Gilmore returns to finance his daughter's ballet classes.

A 50 year old adman (Robert Urich) loses his job. Rather than facing trying to find a new job, he decides to try to make it on the senior golf tour. This causes him to neglect his wife (Meredith Baxter) and family.

Director Michael Wech follows him throughout an entire season (including at the U.S. Masters Tournament in Augusta) and tells a multifaceted story that weaves personal insights with defining moments from his extraordinary career. The film spans Langer’s childhood in Anhausen (Bavaria), his early days as a caddie, and his triumphs on the world’s most prestigious golf courses. Companions from across several decades share their stories—including international sports legends such as Sir Nick Faldo, Roger Federer, Martin Kaymer, Colin Montgomerie, Gary Player, Marcel Siem, and Annika Sörenstam.
