Ian Pollard was an architect and property developer. Along with his wife, Barbara, he ran Abbey House Gardens, which was known for its clothing-optional days. After Ian's passing, his sons, Rufus and Kian, and Rufus' wife, Kristen, took over Abbey House Gardens, but it closed down in 2021.
