Set in 1999, 'CHARITY!' tells the story of a closeted Irish Y2K pop princess who undergoes a darkly comic assault on the senses as she wrestles with the cost of toxic fame and an evil record label who'll stop at NOTHING to make her a star.

An ethereal young woman visits her grandmother in a nursing home by a lake. Mystical forces converge with a coming-of-age tale that celebrates the power of storytelling - through the plight of two women struggling to overcome grief.

When gawky Irish teenager Róisín has to tell her best friend Jess that she loves her, she receives help from an unusual source - the cartoon villainess 'Empress ClawScream'. Set in the early 1990s, Empress ClawScream is an LGBTQ+ rom-com where regional sci-fi conventions, 1980s cartoon crazes, Riot Grrrl feminism, and first love all collide in spectacular fashion.
