Outside a secluded house, a young boy tirelessly searches the earth for a lost ring, watched from a distance by an old man who never leaves the house. But when the boy’s search comes to an end, the old man is forced to confront something buried far deeper than the ground beneath him.

Fouad, a 60-year-old man, goes to the police station to confess to a crime he committed when he was younger. After a lengthy day of investigation, the cops are still baffled by Fouad's story and begin to wonder if his confession is a made-up tale.
