Ural, a young entrepreneur, returns from the big city to his native Bashkir countryside with plans to build a factory. However, his plans fall apart when he encounters a mythical forest spirit. To save himself and his friends, Ural must undergo a mystical trial—one in which both the fate of his village and his own soul are at stake.

The kidnapper gets into the house where the nine-year-old girl Nadya and her animator, student Lenya, are left. His target is a girl. The student will have to make a choice: resist and risk his life, or allow the girl to be taken to save himself.
