Syamsul, a young man driven to despair by being repeatedly rejected by many women in his village, takes a shortcut through sorcery to get what he wants. This film is said to be based on and inspired by a series of real-life mystical events that took place in Banda Neira in 1988.

Two employees were assigned by his office to collect data from a remote village in South Sulawesi.
