This documentary was inspired by the artistic life of Serbian actress Sonja Savić. Being a wonder child, a star of Yugoslavian cinematography, a sex symbol, and urban legend of the eighties generation, a fighter against establishment, Sonja Savić had always attracted attention. Simply put, she always looked, spoke and thought differently from others, she was entirely autonomous, an authentic phenomenon of Serbian culture. In the documentary SONJA, friends and colleagues of Sonja Savić testify on many aspects of her life and work, and a special emphasis is put on Sonja’s libertarian, rebellious, Don Quixote type of nature.

"Love Stars" is a film about loneliness, growing up and search for love. Laza is a romantic 20 year-old, who after being isolated a long time, comes to the city. There he gets to know a group of young voyeurs, led by a 50 year-old, with classy attitude and manners (the Count). Laza joins them and during the course of film that simple group of voyeurs becomes a witness of the whole state of spirit dominating in our everyday life. By the irony of fate, on the end Laza's dreams still come through.

The story takes place in Nis, towards the end of the nineteenth century, during the calm down of the stormy historic events which led to final liberation of southern Serbian parts from Turkish occupation. The comedy is about celebrating traditional saint's day feast, organized by Ivko and how his guests test the Serbian hospitality.

Luxurious Danube river cruiser "Kriemhild", on a 2 day tour from Vienna to Belgrade. The ship "Kriemhild" is a floating sin city. Exhausted, unhappy, frustrated people from western Europe come here to "relax" and conduct business with alcohol, entertainment and sex. As a fulfilled and happy man, he despises all his friends who are struggling with the "backward puberty syndrome" - as he called sensitive age where men are desperate to stay young. But he has no idea that he will be hit by the "mid-life crisis" and suddenly "strike" love, which, he thought, become immune. In order to overcome the emotional and erotic temptation, it seems everything to be changed, in the true sense of the word.

In a rented apartment in Belgrade lives Srećko, who always plays the same combination of lotteries in the hope to win a premium one day. Marko's surreal duplicity propels him up the ranks of the Communist Party, and he eventually abandons Blacky and steals his girlfriend. After a lengthy stay in a below-ground shelter, the couple reemerges during the Yugoslav Civil War of the 1990s as Marko sees the opportunity to exploit the situation.

In a way of protesting for inhuman living conditions and the shortage of medications caused by the disintegration of Yugoslavia and its sanctions, a doctor in a hospital decides to close his clinic for mental illness. His wish is to return the patients to their homes or give them to someone who is willing to accept them temporarily.

The exploits of a depressed architect in Belgrade as he wanders about searching for the future in a land where the future no longer exists. Handsome Nikola is in his mid-thirties. He earned the nickname Champ because he used to race speedboats. He makes a decent living as a free-lance architect and his apartment is spacious and comfortable. Ana is attracted by the Champ's good looks and apparent prosperity. He is always pensive though; even when he is out drinking at the local clubs with his companions he cannot help but brood about the state of Belgrade. Though the city appears fairly normal on the outside, the presence of the war is signalled when a reluctant conscript in the army is dragged away.

Two middle-aged friends, Mićko and Đorđe, decide to make a joke with their childhood friend, teacher Svetislav, who is a stingy when it comes to paying for the bills at bars where they often hang out. However, a joke goes wrong after Svetislav ditches his wife, resigns at the school where he works, and raises a credit at the bank, believed he's about to make a new start.

On Saturday, 5 April 1941, one day before the Invasion of Yugoslavia of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, a colourful group of random passengers on a country road deep in the heart of Serbia board a dilapidated bus, headed for the capital Belgrade. The group includes two gypsy musicians, a World War I veteran, a Germanophile, a budding singer, a sickly looking man, and a hunter with a shotgun. The bus is owned by Krstic senior, and driven by his impressionable and dim-witted son Misko.

Banović Strahinja takes place during the middle ages in Serbia. While estate owner Strahinja is hunting, a Turkish bandit, Alija, attacks his castle. The problems arise when the microfilm accidentally finds itself in the possession of one of the competitors, unbeknown-st to her. The criminals try to get in possession of the microfilm, however a brave journalist who came because of the contest prevents them of doing so.

An absurd depiction of the communist revolution in Yugoslavia after World War II, the film primarily follows a group of young partisans who are placed in the home of a pre-war bourgeois family. The family then tries to adapt to the new ideology and values, often leading to various absurd situations.

Prle and Tihi, being the only surviving members of their resistance group, had been forced to leave Nazi-occupied Belgrade and join Partisans in country. In Summer of 1944 somebody is assassinating resistance sympathizers, and Prle and Tihi must return to Belgrade deal with it. In order to cross through enemy lines, they use cars, clothes and documents of captured pro-Nazi minister. During their journey the minister escapes and warns the Gestapo.

Hence they become the victims of one such fashion, the victims of Goethe's "The Sorrows of Young Werther" and its influence on generations of young people.

"Maiden Bridge" is a place of exchange of German prisoners and partisans captured by the Germans. Unit with nine captured Germans is marching towards the bridge. there is double trouble for partisans, since they are surrounded by the hostiles and also going directly into the hands of ruthless enemy leaders.

These are agonies of a contemporary man.

The body of Dr. Charles Berens, Chief of the United Nations Medical Relief Organization, is seen hurtling from the lofty parapet of an ancient church.
