Khayyam Abdullazadeh (Khayyam Abdullayev / Khayyam Shami) was born in the village of Mamyrli, Tartar region. He studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2000-2004). He worked as a director and project manager at ANS television (2003-2009). During this time, he was the author of “Meydan”, “Unknown Celebrities”, “Divan of Geniuses” and many other intellectual projects. For some time, he worked as a project author and director at Space TV, Lider TV, AzTV and ITV. He collaborated with the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio and the “Mozalan” satirical film magazine.
