Set in an isolated dystopian Perth, Australia, corporate empires rule globally and civil liberty has become a distant memory. When a bio-chemical weapon attacks the city, a Baltic woman is forced to take a desperate passage through the dry Australian outback.

A veteran soldier from the long-forgotten Millennium War - and a member of the ancient warrior subhumans called IJO - must prevent manipulative tyrants and the corrupted government from repeating past mistakes.

A late-night ride turns into a test of trust and resolve when a young woman realizes the road she's on is part of a system designed to return the lost to those who claim them.
