The film Mečiar is the confession of the young director Tereza Nvotová about Vladimír Mečiar and the influence that this politician had on Slovak society, but also on the life of Tereza herself. When the totalitarian communist regime fell in Czechoslovakia in 1989, Tereza was one year old. The leaders of the Gentle Revolution then decided to hold an audition for the Minister of the Interior, to which Vladimír Mečiar, an unknown business lawyer from the Slovak countryside at the time, applied. After success in bankruptcy, Vladimír Mečiar reaches the political top, from where he rules the country with a series of questionable practices. Against the background of events such as the division of Czechoslovakia or the kidnapping of the son of the president of the Slovak Republic, Tereza and her peers relive their childhood.

The story takes place in the Czech-German border region in 1938. The hero Tomás Jakl marries but the marriage is not very lucky and falls apart. His German friend forced him to enter the Nazi party.

March 1945. It is already quite obvious to the Nazis that they cannot win the war. So it is time to think about the future after the war and to cover their tracks. One concentration camp must be completely cleared out and the prisoners buried in the mines. Only the mine-hunters remain - among them Ernest, a veteran of the Spanish Civil War from Vienna, and Kim, a resistance fighter from Prague. One day they decide to escape with the other prisoners, but they are betrayed and most of the escapees are shot. The pair of heroes are not alone, however, and on the way they are joined by a guard dog from the camp that Kim used to feed. In the coming days, Ernest leads young Kim through the unrelenting cold on his journey to freedom, teaching him that there is only one rule to follow in this time - kill or be killed.

A television production of a Renaissance comedy by N. Machiavelli. A sharp criticism of society, a sharp satire on the wickedness of the clergy and human stupidity that causes the breakdown of marriage. The old lawyer Calfacci, husband of the young and beautiful Lucrezia, is unable to father a child. Callimaco, in love with Lucrezia, convinces him to give his wife a decoction of mandrake. At the same time, he warns him that anyone who comes into physical contact with Lucrezia for the first time will die from the effects of the poison. Therefore, the first villain (whom Callimaco himself is) must be caught and sacrificed for a good cause. However, he must convince Lucrezia's mother and the virtuous Lucrezia, and thus bribe the confessor Timoteo. The monk approves this intention with his casuistic interpretation and blesses him.

The dramatic story captures the hard and dangerous life of the partisan group "Čapajev" led by Ľudovít Kukorelli during World War II. It retrospectively presents the course of the Slovak National Uprising in eastern Slovakia.

A television adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy about the destructive power of wealth. Timon, a rich and generous Athenian citizen, gives gifts to his friends generously and magnanimously. He helps everyone in need, regardless of their status. However, he is surrounded by false friends who refuse to help him when his coffers are empty and his barrels no longer overflow with wine. The attitude of his friends shakes his faith in the goodness of humanity, and he retreats to a cave on the seashore, where he dies by his own hand, cursing the entire human race. A dramatic story from the setting of a youth de tention center. Youngster Jakub, out of delusory solidarity, gets convicted of theft and goes to prison in place ofthe "sheriff" of his gang. He naively hopes that the sheriff will appreciate his gesture and leaves the stolen goods in a safe hideaway to later divide them fairly among the gang members. This conviction gives Jakub the strength to endure the unbearable conditions in the center. But reality is often much harsher than naive ideals and hollow relations in the gang.
