Yuko Takashima

The protagonist is a former ordinary person who married the daughter of a yakuza boss and became unwillingly entangled with the underworld. The portrayal of the yakuza world, its organizations, and its characters from the perspective of a man not yet fully steeped in violence is fascinating. The Ryusei-kai, led by Yajima Joji, is targeted by yakuza organizations from both the east and west. Known as the “Mobsters” and feared, the secret to their strong unity lies in a blood oath stronger than family bonds. Bando, leader of the Bando-gumi (Hideo Nakano), is approached by a seemingly ordinary civilian, Keisuke Katagiri (Riki Takeuchi). Katagiri impresses Bando by quickly selling a large batch of drugs under their control, earning his trust. But this is only the beginning— Katagiri is secretly on a path of revenge for his elder brother Asahi (Masakatsu Funaki), who was assassinated by Bando. Before long, Katagiri becomes known in the underworld as a “Gokutsubushi” — a man who doesn’t just kill a boss… he wipes out entire syndicates from existence.

By chance, Narumi discovers that the room next door is the hideout of a Chinese gang of thieves. Having lost her job and being stuck with everything, she tries to steal money from the thieves and get a new life...
