Luis Yepiz has spent his life making sure others don't go hungry. But after a near-death experience, he is pushed to reflect on his self-sacrificing lifestyle.

During the largest food crisis in a century, a group of college students step up to help those facing hunger. Their small local effort inspires hope nationally and motivates 600+ students to drop everything to feed millions of families. Within months, the project scales larger than anyone could have imagined and the students find themselves on the front lines of fighting hunger. As food bank lines grow across the country and college finals approach, do the students have what it takes to create a long term solution?

In February 2006, 19-year-old Renee Yohe was at the edge of death. With drugs in her system and a self-inflicted wound on her arm, she was denied entrance into a Florida rehab facility. Her friends spent five days looking after her while she detoxed, and eventually decided to write about the experience in a MySpace post. At a time when it was taboo to talk about self-harm, the writing found its way around the world, reaching millions who had no other outlet to express how they were feeling. Powered largely by the punk rock scene, and then the music scene at large, the story would grow beyond anyone’s wildest expectations into a global movement that helped save thousands of people’s lives.

Over 30 years ago, Lisa Creason attempted to rob a Subway cash register. She had no plan, no weapon, and no get-away car. It was an act of desperation to feed her infant daughter, and resulted in a criminal record she couldn’t escape. Denied her dream of becoming a nurse, Lisa must fight an unjust law to provide for her family and create opportunities for thousands of others across the state of Illinois.

Paperboy Love Prince is a far cry from your typical New York City mayoral candidate. They can often be found in Washington Square Park standing on top of a bedazzled school bus rapping about social issues. When they announced their run for mayor, many laughed them off as a joke candidate. However, as their campaign starts to heat up, their viral tactics gain momentum online and in mainstream media like Rolling Stone and The Trevor Noah Show. Can Paperboy act as a nexus between the people who wouldn't ordinarily engage in politics and a platform that serves them?
