NR"My Right Hand" is a film about a time where I was deeply questioning my religious identity. To be Muslim is not only to have a set of values and beliefs, but to follow a set of daily behaviors and habits as well. Behaviors that, as an American-born kid trying to fit in, can isolate you from those around you. As a result, I tended to push away that side of myself as a method of social survival.
