Greg owes his girlfriend, Amy, a favor. It's time to clear out the home of her deceased grandparents: a dilapidated villa consumed by creeping ivy and the passage of time. The film depicts a dystopian world very close to our own. Every November, people go into hibernation and wake up in spring. The protagonist, a nineteen-year-old boy named Stefano, is forced to spend the hibernation period in the isolated house of his stepmother, his father's new partner.
