Uqbar, the father of a family, is disturbed in his desolate house by three mysterious creatures. They will order him to organize a delicious banquet in exchange for a better life for his family.

Inspired by actual events, the film follows Aquiles, an Amazonian boy abducted by the terrorist group Shining Path. Through his testimony, we witness his journey from victim to fighter and his desperate attempt to escape. A raw and intimate look at indoctrination, violence, and survival, the film reconstructs his struggle for identity and freedom.

Sistu and her small community in the Andes discover the magic of cinema. This meeting causes a stir but also confronts them with their culture and highlights the limitations of the community to understand and read Spanish. As a solution, they choose Sistu so that every week he goes to town to see a movie and tells it to everyone in the square.
