Sait, a man committed to his faith, has turned his back on the material world. This peaceful existence is shattered by a news story he sees on television and a municipal worker who comes knocking on his door in the middle of the night.

Birce is taking a shower alone in her house on a rainy night. The faint rattling sounds coming from the door heighten the tension in the air. She hears the sounds but is not yet sure whether her mind is playing tricks on her. The door opens; a figure in a black suit enters, his face unseen.
