Newly minted Filipino featherweight world champion Mark Magsayo makes the first defense of his title against Mexico’s unbeaten former world champion Rey Vargas. Magsayo is coming off an upset victory over long-reigning world champion Gary Russell Jr. The main event clash features two of today’s best boxers from the boxing rich nations of Philippines and Mexico. Plus, former 122-pound world champ Brandon Figueroa makes his ring return against Carlos Castro from the Alamodome in San Antonio. Undefeated champion Tank Davis takes on unbeaten contender Frank Martin in a WBA Lightweight World Championship bout and David Benavídez makes his 175-pound debut vs. Oleksandr Gvozdyk for the Interim WBC Light Heavyweight Title. Plus, two more championship fights open the show as Gary Antuanne Russell battles Alberto Puello and Carlos Adames faces Terrell Gausha.

Hall of Fame boxing legend Manny Pacquiao and Welterweight World Champ Mario Barrios square off in a can’t-miss showdown. Plus, Super Welterweight World Champ Sebastian Fundora and Australian superstar Tim Tszyu meet in a rematch, Pitbull Cruz and Angel Fierro meet for the second time after their action-packed clash and Brandon Figueroa battles Joet Gonzalez.

In a matchup of all-action, high-powered former world champions, hard-hitting star Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa will meet Filipino sensation Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo for the vacant Interim WBC Featherweight Title.

Andres Cortes (24-0, 13 KOs) takes on Dominican contender Eridson Garcia (23-1, 14 KOs) in a super-featherweight showdown. The unbeaten American prospect continues his push towards world level, while Garcia brings power and momentum as he looks to derail Cortes’ rise.

Featherweight World Champion Gary Russell Jr. defends his title against top contender Mark Magsayo in an exciting main event between two of the world’s best 126-pounders.
