A gifted but underprivileged pianist, Seo-jun lives for competition—until he encounters Ji-soo, a free-spirited jazz musician. As love and music begin to change him, he must choose between winning and finding his own voice.

Jisu, a virtual YouTuber with a dream of becoming a singer, hides her face and performs under an avatar. After passing the first round of an audition, she decides to lose weight quickly for the next stage and enters the strict Seonnyeo Fasting Center. On her way there, she meets a man who resembles her ideal type. However, the fasting center's rules are tough, and she constantly clashes with the grumpy manager, Yunho. Amidst hunger, the tempting smell of grilled pork wafts from a nearby restaurant owned by the man she met, leading Jisu into a moral struggle between temptation and her dream of becoming a singer.

The Palaces weaves together three interconnected stories of love, chance encounters, and personal dreams. After a painful breakup leaves aspiring actor Mo-beom with no memory of the previous night, he unexpectedly reunites with an ex at Deoksugung Palace. Meanwhile, Chloe, a Korean-French traveler with a passion for film photography, explores Gyeongbokgung alongside a newfound companion. At Changdeokgung, a struggling film student facing an uncertain future decides to create what may be his final movie.

Se-jeong is a girl who hopes to inherit her parents' noodle shop, while her friend Yun-seong wants nothing to do with his family's rice cake business. One day, Yun-seong reveals a shocking secret: he is living with ghosts in his old house. Without anyone knowing, Yun-seong has been stayed there with the ghosts, and Se-jeong slowly falls for his gentle way of caring for them.
